A Letter To Grief
House Of Roses N The Dark HORNTD is pleased to announce its postcard project, A Letter To Grief, where hundreds of artists and individuals share their thoughts, feelings, and messages to the things lost due to COVID-19. Each postcard is a part of a collective unit to raise mental health awareness and the process of grief and the everyday lives we face despite the devastation of the pandemic.
Although humanity as a whole has been largely impacted by COVID, many people have not been allowed the time to process and grieve the events that have transpired. Our goal is to globally reach 5,000 individuals and families, in hopes to help them along their healing journey. The devastation of this pandemic has been catastrophic and we want to make a tribute and pay homage to not only the lives lost, but also the grief associated with the loss of contact, daily routines, and the many changes everyone has had to make in order to ensure the safety of ourselves and loved ones. The importance of providing a positive, safe space to process and release emotions is essential to the healing process and we would like to come alongside and assist those searching for support. To honor the loss of COVID-19 in all its capacities the collected postcards will be curated into a singular art piece and will be part of an exhibition.

We invite artists from all over the world to participate by sending us their postcards. Fill out our registration form to receive your postcard in the mail. Once you’ve filled out your postcard, mail it back to us for collection. Please keep in mind not to share your or another person’s identity while creating your postcard.
